European Championship - Attractive matches in Berlin and Leipzig at the European Football Championships
Berlin and Leipzig, the venues in eastern Germany, were given attractive matches in the group draw for the European Football Championship 2024 in Hamburg on Saturday. The first match in the group stage at Berlin's Olympiastadion will be between Spain and Croatia on June 15. Further knockout matches in Berlin are the quarter-finals on July 6 and the final on July 14. After the group stage, a round of 16 match will take place in Leipzig on July 2. Germany will certainly not be playing in the arena there at the European Championships.
