After an attempted murder of a 32-year-old woman in Löningen in the district of Cloppenburg, the suspect remains at large. There are no new developments regarding the 30-year-old husband of the victim, who is believed to have fled the scene after the incident on Sunday evening, according to a police spokeswoman.

The woman was seriously injured on the street but is now out of danger, according to police reports. Several witnesses reported the incident. Police also searched for the 30-year-old using a helicopter.

The suspected perpetrator is believed to have originated from Lower Saxony, as mentioned in his residential documents. The investigation into the crime is ongoing in the region of Cloppenburg, specifically in Löningen, a town known for its rich history and scenic beauty in Lower Saxony.
