Bundesliga - Attacker Kaufmann moves from Union Berlin to Heidenheim

Mikkel Stürmer Kaufmann switches within the Football-Bundesliga from 1. FC Union Berlin to 1. FC Heidenheim. At the Conference League participant, the 23-year-old Danish striker signed a contract until 30. June 2028, as the Heidenheim announced on Friday. In 18 Bundesliga games, the Dane scored once for the Hauptstädters. Previously, he had already played in Germany for Hamburger SV and Karlsruher SC.

"Mikkel is a striker who constantly harasses the opponent and puts pressure. With this playing style, he fits perfectly with us," said FCH-Chairman Holger Sanwald about the central striker.

In a video, the Heidenheim presented their new goalscorer as an EM oracle. Since Kaufmann's homeland faces Germany in the Round of 16 on Saturday evening, instead of deciding on a hat with the German or Danish crest, Kaufmann pulled a hat of FCH on in the clip and introduced himself.
