Crime involving violence - Attack with a knife in a green area: Two youths are being detained.

A vicious knife attack occurred in Berlin-Mitte, leaving a 31-year-old man critically injured. In response, authorities have issued arrest warrants for two teenagers, aged 15 and 16. These teens were taken into custody along with three others on a previous Friday. Prior to their arrest, there was an intensive investigation, during which video recordings were reviewed. On Saturday, the two teens appeared before a judge. The 16-year-old is thought to be responsible for stabbing the 31-year-old with a knife. The victim is reportedly doing better after undergoing emergency surgery, according to the prosecutor's office.

The horrific incident unfolded in a courtyard on Rochstraße towards the end of last week. A group of assailants attacked the 31-year-old man, during which one of them stabbed him with a knife, causing him to collapse. The other three teenagers detained along with the two suspects, aged 14 and 16, were eventually released. Unwavering police officers carried out raids last Thursday evening, seizing various mobile phones and pieces of apparel from the five individuals believed to be responsible for the assault. The investigation has since continued.
