At the explosion of an ATM in Berlin-Spandau, there were greater damages. According to the police, a neighbor and a passerby heard a loud bang in the night and called the officers. The response units found, in the Haselhorst district next to the blown-up ATM, damages to the window fronts and interior areas of neighboring businesses. The extent of the damage and whether and how much money was stolen is the subject of investigations. A specialized commission of the State Criminal Police is now searching for the perpetrator.

The police operation to investigate the blasting of the cash machine in Berlin-Spandau is extensive due to the material damage to nearby businesses.
