Unknown persons have blown up an ATM on the first floor of an inhabited apartment building. As the police announced on Thursday morning, the residents were not injured during the blast in Philippsburg (Karlsruhe district) on Wednesday night.

Unknown persons have blown up an ATM on the first floor of an inhabited apartment building. As the police announced on Thursday morning, the residents were not injured during the blast in Philippsburg (Karlsruhe district) on Wednesday night.

According to the information, witnesses reported several suspected perpetrators who fled in a car with an unknown amount of cash. The building and the vending machine were initially damaged to an unknown extent. Flying debris also damaged parked vehicles. The criminal investigation department is investigating.
