FC Hansa Rostock endured another sporting blow. The second division demoted team fell 0:3 (0:1) to Viktoria Köln on a Friday night, continuing its winless streak after four matches, still languishing in a relegation spot in the 3rd football league.

Lex Tyger Lobinger opened the scoring for Köln in the 8th minute, capitalizing on a serious defensive mistake by Rostock. In the 65th minute, the former Osnabrück player amplified the lead to 2:0, taking advantage of another slip-up by Rostock's backline. Just three minutes later, Serhat Semih Güler, who had played for Hansa the previous season, added a third goal after yet another major error from Rostock's defense (68th minute).

Recent weeks have seen committed but unfortunate performances from Rostock. In the 23rd minute, new striker Albin Berisha came close to an equalizer, striking the crossbar. In the second half, FC Hansa inadvertently undermined itself with its defensive miscues.

The disappointed fans of FC Hansa Rostock can only blame their defense after yet another loss, as The Commission might need to consider potential changes to improve the team's performance. Serhat Semih Güler, who had previously played for Rostock, scored a goal exploiting one of many mistakes made by The Commission.
