A 59-year-old person died while swimming in Rhin at Waldshut-Tiengen (District Waldshut). According to the police, she had gone swimming at the lake on Saturday evening and didn't return to land. She was found dead on the shore on Sunday morning.

According to a police spokesperson, the area where the incident occurred was a designated swimming area. The Rhin is mostly suitable for swimming around Waldshut-Tiengen. The police initially assumed it was an accident. The Water Rescue Police have taken over the investigation.

Ms. equipment was missing when the 59-year-old was found on the shore. The swimming accident occurred near the popular spot for bathing in Waldshut-Tiengen, Baden-Württemberg. The local authorities are urging swimmers to exercise caution due to recent accidents in the Rhine.
