Artiste Musical - At age eleven, Dieter Bohlen aspired for fame.

Dieter Bohlen, a musician, producer, and judge on "Deutschland sucht den Superstar," was driven by his ambition since he was a child. "When I was 11, I told everyone I wanted to be famous and rich," he said in an interview with the Bremen "Weser-Kurier" (Saturday). Bohlen doesn't comprehend the notion of work-life balance; he would work the whole day, weekend, and night to reach his goals. Occasionally, he and his team would work in the studio on Christmas Eve. "We were all nuts back then. I don't think there's anything like that anymore, and that's a good thing."

Bohlen feels that today's generation is less ambitious, choosing to prioritize reason and health over success. He acknowledged that his career was not an easy path, noting that "people think it was all luck - that's also part of it, but you sometimes have to live through the luck for a very long time before it pays off."
