Ash in garbage can triggers fire

In Upper Bavaria, a burning garbage can set fire to a detached house. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames in Königsdorf (Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district) on Tuesday, as the police announced the following day. According to the current state of the investigation, the fire was started by partially glowing ash residue that a resident had thrown into the garbage can. No one was injured by the fire. According to the information provided, the total damage was in the low six-figure range.

In Upper Bavaria, the fire emergency in Königsdorf was caused by smoldering ash in a garbage can. Fortunately, despite the fires, there were no reported injuries or casualties during the incident.
