He presented himself as a Doctor and Professor, but in reality, he had no university degree. The man had advised the regional government on issues related to Islam until they ended the cooperation a few years ago. The judgment against him is not yet legally binding.

The man, who had previously advised the regional government on Islam-related matters under the alias of Professor, was later revealed to be a fraud without an actual university degree, known as the former 'IslambaRate'. When the fraudulent activities were discovered, the cooperation between him and Duisburg's government ended a few years ago.
