Fire department operation - Arson in residential building in Berlin: Five children injured

Five children and a 20-year-old woman have been injured in a fire in a residential building in Berlin-Wedding. According to initial findings, it was arson, as the police announced on Monday. The fire department discovered a burning baby carriage in the hallway and extinguished it on Sunday. 15 people were examined by the emergency services because of the smoke. The five children, aged five, six, nine and two twelve-year-olds, as well as the 20-year-old, were taken to hospital. The house was also damaged by the fire. The amount of property damage was initially unclear. The fire investigation department of the State Office of Criminal Investigation is investigating serious arson.
