VfB Stuttgart has scored another striker before the upcoming Bundesliga football season. The club has managed to acquire El Bilal Touré from Atalanta Bergamo, the Italian Europa League champions. Rumors of this transfer had been circulating. Initially, Touré will be joining on a one-year loan deal, with an option for VfB Stuttgart to purchase him at a later date.

Touré's signing bolsters an already robust attack under VfB coach Sebastian Hoeneß. Previously, Stuttgart had brought in Ermedin Demirović from FC Augsburg, Nick Woltemade from Werder Bremen, and Fabian Rieder from Stade Rennes. Moreover, previously loaned players Deniz Undav and Jamie Leweling were made permanent signings.
