AfD party conference - Arrests at anti-AfD protest
Activists attempted to prevent the arrival of delegates to the party conference on Saturday morning. Several parliamentarians reported that they were picked up by the police from their hotel and taken to the event venue. Others were escorted individually under heavy police protection to the hall, harassed by demonstrators. Some delegates, however, managed to reach the Grugahalle undisturbed on foot.
