Arrest after suspected drug deal in Frankfurt
Police have arrested two suspects following a suspected drug deal in Frankfurt. Drugs were seized from them, the police announced on Sunday. The officers had observed the two men, aged 59 and 36, during a suspected sales transaction on Friday. They then discovered almost 30 grams of heroin, small amounts of cocaine and crack cocaine, a precision scale and pepper spray in a rucksack.
The men were reportedly unable to identify themselves and have no fixed address. The 36-year-old is said to have been living in Germany illegally for several years. Both men were remanded in custody. They are being investigated on suspicion of drug trafficking and receiving stolen goods.
The suspected drug deal occurred within the urban area of RHEIN-MAIN. Despite their involvement in the crime, the men had no permanent residence.
