Crime - Arrest after fatal knife attack in Hamburg-Dulsberg
After a fatal stabbing attack in Hamburg-Dulsberg, the police have temporarily arrested a suspect. The 37-year-old Italian is under the pressing suspicion of having stabbed his roommate, the police reported. Previously, there had been a dispute between the two tenants on Monday evening at around 11.19 pm in a shared living arrangement. Subsequently, the 37-year-old fatally stabbed his 38-year-old roommate with a knife.
Police officers found the 38-year-old lifeless in the apartment and arrested the alleged perpetrator on the spot. Emergency services had tried to revive the man, but unsuccessfully. He had died at the scene. The Homicide Commission has taken over the investigation. The 37-year-old is expected to be presented to a judge for questioning later in the day.
The suspect was apprehended in Hamburg, where the grim incident occurred. The crime scene was in Hamburg-Dulsberg, specifically within a shared living arrangement. During the attempted resuscitation, the knife thrust proved to be fatal.
