Around 1800 animals at poultry show in Havelland
Around 1800 birds were shown on Saturday in Schönwalde-Glien in the Havelland district. According to the Berlin and Brandenburg State Association of Breed Poultry Breeders, the breeders mainly presented pigeons this year. A relatively small number of guinea fowl, ducks, chickens, bantams and quails were shown. According to the association, this was due to the stricter veterinary regulations this year. On Friday, all the animals were assessed by judges. Among other things, color, shape and stance were evaluated.
Visitors enjoying their leisure time at the animal exhibitions can explore a variety of birds, including pigeons, guinea fowl, ducks, chickens, bantams, and quails. Perhaps during their next visit, exhibitions might expand to include other animals, given relaxed veterinary regulations.
