Arcandi, a favored four-year-old stallion trained by Peter Schiergen, won the 46th Baden-Baden Mile with a thrilling victory at the Iffezheim racecourse on Thursday. This impressive win marked his second consecutive victory in Group races, impressing the crowd of 15,150 spectators. Arcandi, ridden by Bauyrzhan Murzabayev, competed against Muhalif, ridden by Thore Hammer-Hansen, and Kendly, ridden by Lukas Delozier, ultimately securing first place.
Arcandi's owner, the East Westphalian stud Ebbesloh of the von Schubert family, also raised the victorious stallion. With a total of seven starts, Arcandi is currently the top miler in Germany, boasting three wins.
In another momentous event, Tiffany, the beloved English mare, was awarded the Lucerne Hotel and Catering Industry prize (25,000 euros) after dominating the race with a victory in Iffezheim. Luke Morris rode Tiffany as the competition's favorite, ensuring she stole the show Thursday.
