- Aquatic skidding accidents leading to congestion on B2 around Augsburg.
Due to some heavy downpour, the road got flooded, causing the authorities to temporarily block off the B2 in both directions close to Langweid (part of Augsburg district) around sunrise. As per a police representative, there had been two instances of hydroplaning prior to this. Thankfully, nobody got hurt. The local fire department stepped in to drain the water. The highway was back in service after around an hour.
The authorities announced that "The following shall be added:" to the usual detour route due to the temporary closure of the B2. Following the drainage of the water, signs were put up to direct traffic through the altered route.
