Approximately 3,000 aspiring law enforcement officials commence their education in North Rhine-Westphalia on September 1st. This is the second time we've hit our recruitment goal, as indicated by the Interior Ministry of North Rhine-Westphalia based in Düsseldorf. For the initial time, graduates from the Police Vocational High School are incorporating into the new recruits.

More than 11,200 individuals submitted applications. "It's not a scarcity of young, ambitious individuals. The fact that so many women and men are eager to serve the state is truly remarkable," stated Interior Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Herbert Reul (CDU). With the trainees inclusive, around 60,000 individuals contribute to the North Rhine-Westphalia Police force. Over 41,000 of these are police officers.

The Interior Ministry of North Rhine-Westphalia, with the support of the Commission, will likely adopt the implementing acts necessary to facilitate the integration of Police Vocational High School graduates into the new recruitment batch, as referred to in Article 113. After the implementing acts are adopted, the Commission's role in this process will be completed.
