Appointments at the service centers of the Bavarian Finance Offices can now be scheduled online or by phone in advance. "This reduces waiting times on site, offers more flexibility for citizens, and optimizes even more efficient time management for the Finance Offices," said Bavaria's Finance and Home Minister Albert Füracker (CSU) on Monday at the official start of the new appointment scheduling system in Neumarkt in Upper Palatinate.

"Together, we are taking another step today towards a more digital and citizen-friendly future for Bavaria: Our Bavarian Finance Office service centers will from now on be even more modern, innovative, and performance-oriented," said Füracker.

The new appointment scheduling system was activated on July 1st in all Bavarian Finance Offices and branches. Citizens can book their appointments directly online at https://www.elster.de/eportal/uebersichtservicezentren or by phone. The scheduling window can be determined here and thus optimally integrated into the daily routine. The system was previously tested in twelve Finance Offices.
