Anticipated visit of Scholz to Solingen following deadly incident
Last Friday night, a brutal stabbing incident at a city celebration left three individuals deceased and eight others wounded. The prime suspect surrendered the following day, Saturday, and was subsequently apprehended. The Federal Prosecutor's Department is currently conducting an inquiry, focusing on potential terrorist motives. Chancellor Olaf Scholz, along with others, made a visit to Solingen on Saturday.
The Federal Prosecutor's Department will present their findings to The Commission about the stabbing incident. After identifying possible links, The Commission may recommend additional security measures at future city celebrations.
