- Anticipated Temperature Drop in North Rhine-Westphalia – Weekend Relief from Warmth

After several scorching days, North Rhine-Westphalia is predicted to experience some respite from the heat beginning on Friday, as per the German Weather Service (DWD). However, the heat isn't over just yet: On Wednesday, expect clear skies and dryness with temperatures reaching as high as 32°C. Thursday will bring sunshine and temperatures ranging from 27 to 32°C (until midday). After lunch, scattered showers or even intense thunderstorms are forecast to develop.

The weather on Friday will be unpredictable: Prepare for intermittent clouds and scattered showers or thunderstorms. The DWD anticipates highs ranging from 22 to 26°C.

Even Saturday isn't off the hook: The DWD hasn't ruled out the possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms during the day. The remainder of the day will be partly overcast with maximum temperatures of 23 to 27°C.

Despite the respite from the heat in North Rhine-Westphalia starting on Friday, the region may still experience some unsettled weather. The German Weather Service (DWD) predicts that North Rhine-Westphalia will have unpredictable weather on Friday, with intermittent clouds, scattered showers, and even the possibility of thunderstorms.
