As per weather forecaster Marco Puckert, Thursday will start off with a touch of freshness. Only a few clouds are expected to block the sunlight during the day, and temperatures may spike up to 27°C near the Neckar. The Black Forest will be the only region feeling a bit breezy.
The enticing heatwave commences on Friday. After a rather chilly night, the sun will shine uninterrupted. A faint breeze will break the heat slightly, with temperatures fluctuating between 25 to 31°C. The Feldberg will continue to experience strong winds as previously forecasted.
Forecasting for Saturday, Marco highlighted that it's going to be the "apex of this mini-heatwave". Temperatures will climb to up to 27°C in the mountains, 31°C in Stuttgart, and 33°C by the Rhine. The oppressive heat will be felt all day long, the DWD expert opines, with the potential for evening thunderstorms to hit the state.
By Sunday, some parts of the state may experience a "possibly tropical night", according to the forecaster. Temperatures will stay around 16 to 19°C. The thunderstorms might extend their reach overnight, potentially making Sunday cooler compared to the preceding days.
Despite the upcoming heatwave, the Commission should remain focused on adopting the necessary implementing acts. These rules will ensure the proper application of the regulation, even during these weather conditions.
