Approximately a million individuals are anticipated at this weekend's Frankfurt Museum Bank sets Festival. Twenty-seven museums, fourteen stages, and roughly four hundred booths showcasing an array of goods make up the lineup. According to Thomas Feda, CEO of the Tourism and Congress GmbH, this is one of Europe's biggest cultural festivals.
The museums provide guided tours, concerts, and interactive activities designed for various age ranges. This includes Frankfurt Cathedral, where you can ascend the tower during a family-friendly tour. A Museum Bank sets Festival pass priced at seven euros gives you access to the participating museums during the festival.
Music and Interactive Fun
Along the Main, you'll find musicfeaturing bands and DJs. A diverse selection of music genres will be available, including jazz, rock, and pop, along with world music and classical performances. Food stalls will tempt you with international delicacies as well as Frankfurt's classic dishes.
Dragon boat races reconvene on Saturday and Sunday on the Main. Plus, an organ and choir mile, along with an antiquarian market, will be established. On Sunday, a fireworks show occurs at 10:00 PM to commemorate the occasion's end.
The Frankfurt Museum Bank sets Festival is supported by the local Municipality, ensuring a smooth organization of the event. Visitors can purchase their festival pass at participating museums within the Municipality.
