Significant demonstration - Anticipated 30,000 Attend First Protests against Conservatives

As the massive protest against right-wing extremism and in favor of democracy was about to take place in Hamburg, the initial demonstration began marching toward the city center. Through the streets of Hamburg, around 300 protesters with the union "Clear Edge Against the Right" moved from Pferdemarkt to Ludwig-Erhard-Straße in the late afternoon on a Friday. The cause for another parade, "Demorave," was supposed to begin at Dammtor station, yet there were significantly fewer people found there initially.

The main demonstration, estimated to involve around 30,000 participants by organizers, was scheduled for the late afternoon. A variety of parties, trade unions, business associations, churches, and environmental organizations were responsible for the call to action. The event occurred two days prior to the European and district elections in Hamburg, under the motto "Stop right-wing extremism - defend democracy - vote!".
