People in North Rhine-Westphalia should get ready for downpours and thunderstorms near the week's end. The German Weather Service (DWD) on their website predicts that as early as 1:00 PM on Friday, the sky will be overcast with occasional rainfalls. The top temperature will reach 71.6 to 78.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Along with this, there will be moderate to brisk winds, with strong bursts and in some areas, winds that could be stormy. On Saturday, North Rhine-Westphalia will have clear skies initially, but by evening, showers and thunderstorms, sometimes with heavy rain and hail, are forecasted. The thermometer will rise to highs of 80.6 to 87.8 degrees Fahrenheit. There will be moderate wind, but during rain and thunderstorms, gusts of hurricane force might occur.

On Sunday, the weather will be partly cloudy again. No rainfall is predicted. The temperature will drop to a maximum of 66.2 to 69.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Generally, it will be fairly windy.

Despite the clear skies initially, rain showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain and hail are expected in North Rhine-Westphalia by Saturday evening. On the contrary, Sunday is expected to be partly cloudy without any rainfall.
