Animal transporter with 20 cattle overturned
An animal transporter has overturned in Middle Franconia and a driver was slightly injured. According to a police spokesperson, around 20 cattle had to be rescued in the accident on Thursday morning in the district of Ansbach. According to the information, two trucks were coming towards each other on a connecting road near Weitlingen. When they each tried to swerve to the right, the cattle truck overturned. The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The cattle were recovered unharmed and reloaded into another livestock truck.
In a different incident, a cattle transport tragedy occurred in Central France, leading to multiple animal casualties. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, local authorities are working diligently to ensure animal welfare, as rescue efforts are underway to save any injured livestock.
