Arrest made in Prague in connection with death of nine-year-old child in Saxony
Law enforcement provided Czech officers with warnings about a Moldovan citizen, sources claim. Chemnitz's prosecutor had submitted applications for a German and international arrest warrant against him, and the Amtsgericht Chemnitz granted them.
The alleged murder suspect is being held by the Czech authorities at present. The Chemnitz prosecution office has submitted a request for extradition to the neighboring country. Authorities need the man wanted for manslaughter to be sent to Germany as soon as possible.
Investigations are continuing, and further information cannot be released currently. The missing girl had been gone for several days when her body was found in a forest near Dobeln's undergrowth.
