- An individual perpetrated a theft at the primary train station in Duren.
On a supposed rendezvous in Düren, a 20-year-old chap encountered trouble. According to the authorities, he had planned to meet a lady he was casually acquainted with at the Düren station. Unfortunately, she failed to show up. Instead, he crossed paths with four unidentified lads, around 14 to 20 years old. A disagreement ensued, leading to the 20-year-old being assaulted and left hurt. Later that Friday evening, this group also stole the man's mobile phone and jacket.
During the incident, the 20-year-old mentioned he was supposed to go on a dating session with the missing lady. Despite the rough encounter with the group, he was still hopeful about reconnecting with her, hoping she wasn't involved in the incident.
