An 82-year-old lady stumbled onto the tracks of an S-Bahn tunnel in Frankfurt and required assistance from the authorities. Following the occurrence on Thursday, the elderly woman was initially confused and had no idea of her location, as stated by a representative of the federal police. She had ventured from the regional station at Frankfurt Airport into the tunnel.
A conductor operating on a separate track spotted her, the representative disclosed. The police officers escorted the 82-year-old back to the platform. "She aimed to board an S-Bahn but couldn't comprehend how she wound up in the track zone," the police representative explained. After receiving assistance from the officers, she was able to continue her trip with a clear mind. The involved tracks were closed for approximately 20 minutes.
The lady expressed her relief once she was safely back on the platform, acknowledging the seriousness of the situation as an emergency. Upon realizing her situation, she decided to wait for the proper authorities to guide her back to the platform.
