On the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring in the Eifel, a tragic incident occurred, causing severe injuries to two individuals. This took place during tourist laps at the famous race track.
The driver, aged 28, and his 26-year-old female passenger hailed from the Mayen-Koblenz district. They were immediately transported to nearby hospitals following the accident, which occurred on Monday evening.
A spokesperson for the police revealed that three vehicles were involved in the collision. Luckily, neither of the other two cars' occupants were harmed.
