Smaller football club 1. FC Saarbrucken is set to keep working with striker Amine Naifi. The 24-year-old French player got his contract extended until the end of June 2026. The team announced this exciting news on Sunday. Naifi played for them on loan the season prior and is now officially signed from Luxembourg's first division team FC Differdingen 03, thanks to a purchase clause.

Sport Director Jürgen Luginger enthusiastically noted, "We're thrilled to have Amine with us for the next two years. He brings something unique to our games and still has plenty of room for growth."
