- Ambulance rides into car - two injured

An ambulance collided with a car on the A7 motorway in the Allgäu region. The 61-year-old passenger of the car and the 60-year-old doctor in the ambulance were injured, as police reported. The 53-year-old driver of the ambulance failed to notice the end of a traffic jam at Fellheim (district of Unterallgäu) on Thursday and was unable to avoid the collision despite braking fully. The doctor, who was attending to a patient in the rear of the ambulance, broke a leg in the accident, according to reports. The accident had no serious impact on the patient, a police spokesperson said.

The emergency vehicles, including the damaged ambulance and the involved car, were quickly cleared from the A7 motorway following the collision. Subsequently, additional emergency vehicles were dispatched to the scene to tend to the injured individuals.
