According to reports, investigators were pursuing information about a drug shipment when they confiscated 225 kilos of the drug from a vehicle in Dietzenbach on May 28, 2024. They immediately arrested the vehicle's 33-year-old driver. Additional searches in Frankfurt and its vicinity led to the seizure of an additional 300 kilograms of cocaine and the arrest of five suspects aged between 25 and 48. The raids began in October 2023 and are still active.
