Magdeburg - Almost 300 kilograms of illegal fireworks confiscated

Almost 300 kilograms of illegal fireworks have been confiscated by Magdeburg customs within three days. The pyrotechnics were discovered in various packages during suspicious checks, customs announced on Wednesday morning. According to the report, the main customs office in Magdeburg carried out more checks for fireworks this year for the first time and confiscated ten times as many as last year. The recipients are now being investigated for violating the Explosives Act.
