A 52-year-old man was discovered deceased in his Senftenberg apartment on Tuesday. Police reported that the victim had sustained head and upper body trauma on Monday night.

Earlier, a 22-year-old son had registered with the rescue service and confessed that he had murdered his elderly father. The father's injuries suggested severe violence had taken place. The police subsequently apprehended the young German man. In addition to this, emergency responders discovered the 88-year-old mother of the victim at their home, who had sustained a broken arm. She was rushed to the hospital. Currently, the authorities are probing the case and attempting to determine the circumstances of the crime and the source of the father's demise.
