According to police, the incident occurred in the ground-floor apartment of a 42-year-old resident in Solnhofen, Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district on Sunday. The suspect allegedly gained entry through an open terrace door.
The victim was said to have been attacked and sexually assaulted. She managed to call for help, and a neighbor who responded chased the perpetrator but eventually lost sight of him. Despite a thorough search, police were unable to locate the suspect. However, a helpful witness came forward with information that led to the 25-year-old's arrest.
The victim filed a report of sexual harassment, describing the incident that occurred in her home. The arrest of the 25-year-old suspect was made due to allegations of sexual harassment and assault.
