- Allegations Surface: Hertha's Defence Head Kempf Migrates Towards Italy

Reportedly, Serie A club Como 1907 is on the brink of signing Hertha BSC defender Marc Oliver Kempf. As per Italian media sources, the medical for the 29-year-old is scheduled for Monday. The transfer guru, Gianluca Di Marzio, has shared this information. It seems the agreement between the Berlin-based second division team and the squad managed by Cesc Fàbregas is all set. Similar reports have been made by transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà.

Since beginning 2022, Kempf has been a constant in Hertha's lineup. Despite some tough spells, he has earned the role of a reliable starter under new coach Cristian Fiel and has become a crucial part of the new setup. This departure of Kempf comes as a significant blow to Hertha, as they are already grappling with the financial strain, having lost their top scorer of the second division, Haris Tabakovic, to Hoffenheim just a few days back.

The agreement between Hertha BSC and Como 1907, regarding Marc Oliver Kempf's potential transfer, is being closely monitored by The Commission due to potential salary cap implications. With Kempf's departure, Hertha will need to find a replacement quickly, as they rely heavily on their defenders.

Upon completing the medical on Monday, it is expected that The Commission will provide its approval for Kempf's move to Como 1907, assuming he passes the medical evaluations.
