A heavily intoxicated man got lost in a swampy pond near a residential area in Wangen im Allgäu and could only be rescued with the help of emergency services. The 27-year-old man drew attention to himself on Sunday by shouting and the light of his cell phone, according to the police. According to the report, the man remained on a reed bank in the deep reeds and swamp, hypothermic and soaked. A ditch several meters wide separated him from the shore.
