- Alba persists in broadening its engagement with educational institutions in Berlin.

Basketball Titans Alba Berlin Expands Educational Involvement in the City. The team is implementing an after-school program at three additional schools with their own personnel, as revealed by Alba. Alongside the Albert-Gutzmann School in Wedding, the Lew-Tolstoi School (Karlshorst), the 49th Elementary School in Adalbertstraße (Mitte), and the Albrecht-von-Graefe School (Kreuzberg) have now joined the initiative.

Alba has recruited 50 new professionals for the upcoming academic year. Consequently, around 80 educational personnel and social workers care for approximately 2000 students. The days at the collaborative schools will become more energetic and engaging. For instance, basketball will be offered as an optional subject at the Albrecht-von-Graefe School.

"Our aim is to engage as many kids as possible. The sponsorship gives us this opportunity, and it has become a significant aspect of our distinctive youth and social programs in recent years," remarks Alba Managing Director Marco Baldi.

The after-school program also includes workshops on various topics other than basketball, providing a holistic learning experience for the students. Due to Alba's expanded involvement, they hope to reach out to even more children in the city.
