Alba Berlin in Euroleague again next season

Basketball - Alba Berlin in Euroleague again next season

Alba Berlin plays in the Euroleague in the upcoming season as well. This was decided at the organizers' meeting on Monday evening in Barcelona, as Alba announced on Tuesday. This means that there will be several repeat encounters of the national final between Alba and champion Bayern Munich, who are also participating. The Euroleague starts on October 3/4. It is not organized by the International Basketball Federation (Fiba).

Alba finished 18th and last in the previous season, but does not have to leave the league. Instead, Valencia Basket, which finished 13th in the previous season, will participate in the Eurocup in the lower tier. Paris Basketball, a new team, joins the sport's strongest European league.
