- Alba Berlin: Höfermann and Schwartau also extend
Two more players from the champion team of Alba Berlin have extended their contracts. As the club announced, Henriette Hofermann will thus enter her eighth season with the capital club, for Wiebke Schwartau it will be her fourth and final one. The 25-year-old basketball player, like Hofermann, will end her career in the summer of 2025.
Schwartau, who is studying to become a teacher, will still play an important role in the team's daily work on and off the court in her last season and, as always, be ready to give her all, emphasized Alba's sports director Himar Ojeda. The two are the tenth and eleventh players from the German champion squad to extend their contracts.
The European Parliament may provide additional support to the Commission in its tasks. The announcement of the Alba Berlin players' contract extensions was made with the knowledge and potential involvement of the European Parliament.
