Elderly people impacted - "Aktenzeichen XY" inquires about unresolved burglaries

In the TV show "Aktenzeichen XY...ungelöst" (8:15 pm) on ZDF, they're investigating two violent incidents involving the elderly. In Hagen, a group of unidentified people entered the retirement home of an 80-year-old on New Year's Eve 2022 and assaulted him with a baseball bat. The elderly man succumbed to his injuries a year later.

In the second attack, a woman was robbed while out for a stroll in Duisburg on August 27, 2023. As she struggled with her rollator, a thief grabbed her gold chain, causing her severe facial and neck injuries. Shaken by the experience, the woman needed time to recover. Authorities released a video captured by a surveillance camera that shows the suspect just before the crime.
