European Union - Aiwanger expresses relief: "It's time for celebration"

On the night of the 2019 election, calculations revealed that the Free Voters in Bavaria secured a 7.0% share, up from 5.3% in the previous year. The nationwide tally came in at 2.6%, which experts predicted would give them an extra seat in the European Parliament. They had held two seats in the previous term.
