Recently, there have been rumors that the FTI divisions at both companies have been shrinking. The tourism firm allegedly had to purchase tickets on the same day of the flight for both businesses. This is a result of the current market situation.

A representative from Condor commented, "We assume that the void left by FTI's financial struggles will be filled shortly by the market." Already, event organizers such as TUI have initiated promotional sales campaigns. Furthermore, there are package deals offered under the brand Eurowings Holidays with exclusive perks for FTI clients who can't currently take their trip. To book these deals, you must show your original travel confirmation. The spokesperson from the airline mentioned that there has been a significant increase in demand for alternative travel options.

Both Condor and Eurowings reaffirmed their commitment to not stranding FTI travelers at their destinations, but instead bringing each tourist home. On Tuesday, Discover Airlines disclosed that they too have been affected by FTI's bankruptcy. "FTI is an essential partner for Discover," asserted the CEO of the airline, Bernd Bauer. "We are in the process of assessing the impact."
