Ailing Princess Kate takes her first public outing since the holiday season.
Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis back in March. Her last public appearance was during Christmas. On a recent Friday, Kate disclosed that she'd join the birthday procession – the first time since her health battle announcement.
"I'm stoked to hit the weekend's shindig with my gang at the King's birthday parade," she said, mentioning that her cancer treatment would take a few more months yet.
To accompany the announcement, a pic was circulated featuring the Princess near a river, snapped in Windsor around London earlier in the week. "I'm kickin' ass, but as you all know, chemo days can be a mixed bag," Kate admitted.
His Majesty Charles III turns 76 in November. The birthday celebrations for British royals usually involve a Military Parade in June when the weather's expected to be swell. Last year, King Charles, his sis Princess Anne, Brother Prince Edward, and Prince William, rode their horses during the parade.
