Verdict - After the death of a 34-year-old woman: Arrest warrant for husband

After he is alleged to have killed his wife in an apartment in Reichenbach-Steegen (Kaiserslautern district), the prosecutor's office issued an arrest warrant against the husband. It was found that the 52-year-old man obtained access to the apartment on the night before Sunday and killed his wife, the prosecutor's office in Kaiserslautern announced. The man had to leave the apartment two weeks ago due to a police protective order.

The body of the 34-year-old woman was discovered by the common son of the married couple on Sunday morning. The suspect was arrested peacefully on Sunday evening. The autopsy revealed that the woman had died as a result of domestic violence. At the request of the prosecutor's office, the arrest warrant was issued due to the severity of the crime and the risk of flight. According to the prosecutor, the man initially remained silent about the accusations. The motive for the crime was initially unclear.
