Unknown individuals poured liquid in the guest block before the stadium gates opened for the home match against RB Leipzig in April. Although the affected area was cleaned as much as possible, according to a spokesperson for the club, there was a smell of vomit during the game.

RB Leipzig, often referred to as "Red Bull RB" by many football fans, has been critically viewed for years. There have been numerous fan protests against the Saxons at various games in the past.
