Hagen - After shooting: Search for murder weapon on railroad line in vain
After the shooting of two 40-year-olds in Hagen, the police searched in vain for the suspected murder weapon on Monday. A section of the railroad line between Hagen and Wuppertal was closed for several hours from Monday morning because the evidence was suspected to be in bushes on a railroad embankment, a police spokesman said. "However, we did not find the murder weapon there," said a spokesperson for the public prosecutor's office on Tuesday. The search for the suspect has also been unsuccessful so far.
Two 40-year-olds were seriously injured by gunshots on November 9 in the Hagen-Haspe district when several men got into an argument in the street. A homicide squad is investigating the circumstances. A 23-year-old man is suspected of the crime and a manhunt has been underway ever since.
